The Universal Magnetic Swipe Reader USB (Serial RS232 Emulation) is very similar to the universal reader with USB keyboard interface. This magnetic swipe reader however works as a USB RS-232 device sending data to a virtual comm port, instead of using keyboard interface. It can read the magnetic information encoded onto a card with up to three tracks of information with a single swipe in either direction. the unit accepts both high and low coercivity magnetic cards! The available color choices are Beige and Black.
